MY STORY
My name is Giuseppe Centonze. I am an Italian composer and arranger. I began learning to play the piano and compose music in 2009, entirely as a self-taught musician, driven by an increasingly strong need to create music, inspired by bands such as Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire and Stratovarius.
During the early years of my artistic journey, after playing for several years in a symphonic metal band, I devoted myself mainly to cinematic and epic music, creating original soundtracks for fantasy novels, including The Song of the Mountains saga. This led me to work for several years on Original Book Scores, creating music inspired by the stories and worlds of different authors.
Over time, precisely through my work with epic music and its richness of orchestral elements, my artistic path evolved toward a more minimalist approach. I realized that I felt more comfortable and was able to express myself and my emotions more deeply when composing music with a more intimate and restrained sound. This marked the beginning of a long journey that eventually led me to identify with the world of Soft Piano, characterized by delicate sounds, intimate melodies and deep, meditative atmospheres. More and more, music became for me a space for reflection, peace and stillness.
In 2019, alongside this artistic evolution, I moved from my hometown of Brindisi to the small town of Porretta Terme, in Northern Italy, surrounded by woods, rivers and mountains, seeking a deeper connection with nature, silence and a slower way of life. During the same period, I graduated as a Sound Engineer at Fonoprint Studios in Bologna, where I studied with the renowned master and Grammy Award winner Maurizio Biancani (Andrea Bocelli, Ennio Morricone, Zucchero). I then continued my professional training through specializations in acoustics, acoustic simulation, Dolby Atmos, electroacoustics, music hardware, live sound engineering and line array systems.
In 2020, some of my music went viral on YouTube, marking the beginning of my full-time activity on the platform and allowing me to reach an ever-growing international audience. I began sharing arrangements of well-known pieces by Hans Zimmer, Ludovico Einaudi, Yiruma and other artists, before dedicating myself to my own compositions through Piano Sessions recorded in my studio. These sessions are designed to allow listeners to experience my music almost as if they were attending a concert, preserving both the natural sound of the performance and the spiritual dimension that flows through this project.
Over the years, I have released original albums such as The world moves for love, Deep Harmonies, La chambre des âmes, Twelve Months Slowing.
Today, with more than 30 million views on YouTube, my music reaches listeners around the world who are looking for a place to slow down, breathe, reflect and find a moment of peace in an increasingly frenetic and chaotic world. I have found my fullest expression in this project, dedicating my entire career to Christ, my Lord and my greatest source of inspiration.
